Dear Torvald,

I am sorry for the pan that i have caused to you and your family. Here is the contract bvack. This will be the last time you ever hear from me. I decided to kill myself, i have nothing to live for and without the job i will be forced to live on the streets so ive decided that my short life has come to an end. Wish you best of luck, please speak good about me and defend my reputation(as i would do yours) .

Oh thanks goodness , my little featherbrain we are saved. He has sent your contract back. I couldnt imagine the pain that you were going through , it must of been terribly awful. This is great, I forgive you my scatterbrain!

Nora: Thats good, but i just realized that, you are not the man i thought you were.

Helmer: My sweet Nora , what do you mean?
Nora: I thought you would have forgiven me and took the blame but instead you were worried about you reputation.

Helmer: Im sorry, can you ever forgive me.

Nora: Im sorry but im tired of being a doll in a dollhouse... I must go to someone how truly loves me and i know will be there for me no matter what.

Act ll

In act two of "A Doll’s House", many elements were depicted that left the reader wondering what will subsequent to these elements. For example in act l Nora is protrayed as a "scatterbrain" or a person that are mentally unstable. But we later discover that she is not the "featherbrain" that Torvald thinks she is instead she is excessively smart and sneaky. She manages to borrow money from Krogstad in a very discret manner. As we read on, we find that Dr. Rank is in intolerable pain because he has tubercloisis. He tells Nora of his love for her. Dr.Rank's love for Nora can be proven by when Nora says "You’re a fine one Dr. Rank. Aren’t you ashamed of yourself, now that the lamps come in."
Krogstad is still blackmailing Nora but Mrs, Linde thinks she can talk to him and stop his wrong doings. He talks to Nora about giving Torvald a letter filled with all of the truth about the forgery and loan, which could ruin his reputation! Torvald will be furios if he ever sees this letter , I wonder how will Nora stop him from reading Krogstad letter. As the story progresses Nora tries to stop Torvald from obtaining the mail by performing the tarantella. This is were Nora decides the only way to fix everything is to commit suicide! This tells us that Nora is facing excruciating pain with her inner self!

I commented on Nabeehah, Robert, Mike, and Janicah posts.

act 1

In a Doll's House, I find the main character, Nora to be very smart and sneaky. She depicts herself as a very clueless woman but in reality she is the one whos discretly in control. Nora is also a great liar this can be determined by the way shes shoves the macarones in Ms.Linde after lying about her and also the lie that she telds Helmer. She is also self-centered, loves to squander money, and talks about her success a lot.By the way Torvald (Nora's husband) treats Nora, you can tell he thinks she's a "feather brain"(pg 148). Cleary Helmer hates to be in amortization. He is sexist and doesn't like it when women get in man business. This can be justified by when Torvald says,"Nora, Nora, just like a woman."( p.149) '

Mrs.Linde is introduced in the middle of Act 1.She gives off the impression as a nice innocent lady, but I believe that will change as the story goes on. Shes is an old friend who also a widow and has lived a hard life. She is looking for work and is hoping Krogstad can give it to her.Krogstad ( a co-worker of Helmer) has committed forgery and tried to sweet talk his way out of it. This is why Helmer doesnt like him! He is also black mailing for comitting forgery. Nora is now faced with a hard situation, should she help her old friend get athe job or save was seems to be a perfect relationship? If I was in Nora's shoes I would tell the truth because he could not only use this to blackmail her for his job but many other occassions as well.

First Post

Hi. Im Azmar, Mrs.Santos favorite student.Lately she has been very mean to me but I know she only does it because love hurts and she loves me. My favorite thing that we did all year would have to be reading "The Alchemist" , this shoukd me that reading can be fun and gave me a different perspective on reading.

Now for the boring part, Henrik Johan Ibsen , is the author of A Dolls House. He was born in Skien, Norway on March 20, 1828. His father was a respected merchant until he encountered some difficulties and became bankrupt . At the age of 15, he went to night school to get an admission to universities . He wrote a few plays. His plays werent accepted by the most of the citizens because it was unusual and adnormal for them. In late 1857, he became the director of the Norwegian Theater. Not influenced by his plays, he went to Rome . After relocating for three decades he returned back to Christiana , where he later died in early May of 1906.
He thought that every human had a dark side that wasnt explored and studied enough . He believed people shouldn't be educated until they become patient and noble . He also believed that people shoouldnt be helped by others, but we should help ourselves . He had a thought that as a result of experimenting in life, you will experience true happiness and you will encounter an abundance of goodness .Based on my research I can predict the conclusion that the story title will most likely relate to people betraying and being unfaithful or not honest to each other.
